Check out a little article I did for a site in progress that we're working on.

Honestly its my take on the game as we have it, and the solution to the problem of needing to play the new Zelda game, but not wanting to support Nintendo in any way from it, in order to force them to bring out the REAL Zelda they showed us back in 2000.

The Adventures of Link was a masterpiece compared to the stinking craps that were the n64 games. If I wanted tombraider with shit puzzles, a sword, and bosses, I would play an awful game like deathtrap dungeon over the 64 zeldas. Zelda 1, 2, LttP, and the gb zeldas own the n64 ones so hard it's not even funny.

I like the graphical style of the new zelda, the only thing that has me worried is that it looks like it will play very similarly to the n64 zeldas. angry As far as it having a pedo look, I never think anything about pedos when I see small kids, or cartoony kids, I think you need to work something out.

This "article" offered NO insight into the actual game itself [surprise] because you, like most other cynical dough kings on the internet, have not played it. It followed the same fucking typical format, which I will lay out in this post for those wanting to be cynical, insecure faggots as well:

- mention that you've been there since the old days, therefore, your opinion counts more.

- somehow work in that you have a girlfriend, although nobody gives a flying fuck, and it has NOTHING to do with the article itself.

- do not run spell check.

- make sure to bring up the xbox vs gamecube debate, despite the fact the topic was Zelda

- state your skewed opinions as facts, ex: "these graphics are great, they just don't belong in a zelda game!"

etc, etc.

I can't believe insecurity drove you to write an article THAT long and boring! If that wasn't it...what did? Explain to me what aspects of that article DEEMED ITS EXISTENCE, when I could just go onto any Xbox forum [or GCForum that's been ravaged by Xbox fanboys with nothing better to do with their shitty lives] and find the same old recycled whining?

I dont understand why you call this new one "not real" and the one video they made 3 years ago as a promotion for nintendo the "real" zelda. Whatever Nintendo and Miyamoto creates is the REAL Zelda. Live with it or shut up.

I think the graphics look great, EGM gave a near perfect score for the game and the graphics got a 10 rating. Not saying EGM is the end all, but it gives a good idea of what to expect from the game.

So you don't like the way the games looks?

Who cares, go back to playing CvS2 on X-Box live rather than spewing this dumb shit.

Guys can be so insecure!! I mean the only thing this game has been judged on is its graphics. This article was just a stupid rant inflated by a typical guy's "its gay" excuse and therefore I will not play it. Come on, Miyamoto has come up singlehandedly, mind you, with some of the most brilliant games in Nintendo's history and as soon as he tries something a bit different, we freak out about it?? That's why you don't see very much innovation in video games today, because it's about the sales, the popularity, and the buzz that surround a game instead of how much of a joy the game is to play.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some Yoshi's Island to explore.

Now you have to understand something, I'm fully aware that the game will rock. The gameplay is probably as good if not better than what we got in Zelda 64

Give the new Link a chance.I remember a couple months before Metroid Prime was released,People were bitching and complaining about how much it would suck,and what a big let-down the game was going to be.It didn't turn out too bad,did it? I didn't like the way the original Legend of Zelda looked when it first came out either,but afterplaying it,I was in awe.Anyway,I don't think anygame made by Miyamoto can be all that bad........

I believe Miyamoto has already made the comment in an interview that they are looking into the possibility of doing a "more mature" Link, so not buying the game because you actually think Nintendo will care that it doesn't sell a copy to YOU, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You're actually punishing yourself, as form what I understand it is still a great game. I have no first hand knowledge of this fact, but reviews of the JPN copy have been generally pretty damn good.

Here's what's more likely to happen. You convince a shit load of people NOT to buy the new Zelda game (I remember someone flaming me for calling Microsoft M$... then people go and use the Cel-da thing...). What's this gonna do? This will convince Nintendo that Link/Zelda is no longer popular, and then we never see another game in the series. So who gets made a fool of then? Not Nintendo, as they see it as saving money.

So for anyone who cries "I want a more mature Zelda game"... boo fucking hoo. Quit your bullshit bitchin' and get the fuck over it. Think the game's gonna suck? Don't buy it. End of story. But why do you need to try and convince people not to buy it because of your own selfishness?

And on a side note, I played through Zelda 2 more than once and enjoyed every minute of it. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one else does/should.
