Ikaruga and the US GCN version's new features

Sounds pretty cool.. they said it runs just as well as the arcade counterpart.

Beefed up visuals... new modes...etc.

Old news... who cares.. some don't know still

the final announcement was released yesterday that we are 100% sure to see a US release!

as most of you, I already own the DC version but I'll get this one also.

who bought the GC jap version and what can you tell us about it ?

i was worried that it wouldnt come out for awhile.
maybe i can get this one.
i still need to get the DC one just to check it out

I have the Japanese GC version and the demo mode is cool. You can watch a perfect play demo of a small section of the game. You can then play that section in slow motion (or regular speed) to perfect your technique.

I can't say I've noticed any upgraded visuals though.

Cool, I won't have to import then, and I can get a better picture through my PAL GC (full SCART and all that jazz).

um.... oh well

We got Ikaruga.. and thats what I care about right now.

I have not been too fond of raiden (outside the arcade) on the consoles within the last 9 years. Raiden for the Turbo Grafx was KILLLER .... superb... but.. its gone FFAAARRR downhill.
