In my spare time I usually read the NY times paper or magazine, but for books I'm reading:

Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs (3rd or 4th time)

Story of the Eye by Georges Bataille (again)

and trying to get into:

Madame Bovery by Gustave Flaubert (long book!)

When I get tired of reading one, I bookmark my place and switch to another.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas :D

The book is WAY better than the recent movie IMO; the movie just doesn't do the book justice. shame

And on the side, The Art of War by Sun Tzu (translated by Ralf D. Sawyer).

Another HIGHLY recommended book is Flash Point by James C. Houston...simply amazing! drool_2 drool_2

“The new legal regulation of the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Patents”

BTW: Is the art of war good? I have thought about buying it.

The Art of War is definately a good buy if you're into learning how the military works and how to manilupate it through soldiers, spies and weaponry! :D

But beware: don't let anyone in law enforcement know you're reading it or you'll never see the light of day... shame (As they tend to think you'd be a terrorist planner or something stupid like that...yes; it's happened to me and I managed to get out of it, but I was lucky)

Madam Bovary was very good.

There is a really amusing quote attributed to Flaubert... he was explaining why it would take him a few years to finish writing a novel. He said:

'Today I spent the whole morning putting an apostrophe in, and the afternoon taking it out.'

Titus Crow - Brian Lumley
Legacy of the Drow - R.A. Salvatore

Titus crow is good for a hack an slash horror book, but I was hoping for a better Cthulhu Mythos Story. Legacy is actully a 4 book collectors copelation. I am having trouble actually reading it and I have been trying to finish it for the last 3 months. And to think that the first 2 Drizzt books flew by in a couple of weeks frown

One Nation Under Gods (The History of the Mormon Church)-by: Richard Abannes. Great book, and highly recommended for Mormons, or just anybody curious about that faith. Be warned though, if you're devout Mormon, you will get royally pissed off. Good thing I was raised Baptist. :D

Mein Kampf -by: do I need to say it? I'm always in perpetual state of reading this since it's sooooo long and I don't have the time to sit and get deep into it. Don't let some candy-assed liberal bullshit you into thinking this book is hate literature. If you are even slightly interested in politics, war, or both, check this out. You may be in for a pleasant surprise.
