How Do You Picture The People On These Boards???

We dont know what each other people look like, so do you have any mental pictures of anyone?

No offence to anyone! I'm just trying to say that its weird how you sort of get to know people without ever seeing them, so your mind tries to picture them from the snippets of evidence! Even though you know they dont look like that!

If you were to ask me what certain members of this board looked like, their Avatar just pops right into my head. Metal Slug is the tank, Silent_Scope is Goeman, Chimpmeister is Jubei, etc. There are a coupld of exceptions. My brain probably time-shares equally between that picture Fran used to post in his Signature and his current Avatar, and when I think of MookyStains, I always think of the cow in his Signature.

Saotome1 is a big, tall, black guy. He's the only one on these boards that I know personally.

Fran knows what I look like from a video e-mail, so that makes two.

I also see Orpheus as a bearded sailor moon.

Add Rade Kuruc and Spike Spiegel to those that I picture as their Signature pictures, rather than their Avatars.

As for looks:

Biomotor: Kinda like an arcade repairman, which is a cross between a mechanic and a carney. Basement full of Arcade cabinets and MVS'.

Shawn: Cross between a frat-boy and a computer wiz kid. Mass collection of unplayed Neo carts neatly stacked on shelves. Bags of money laying everywhere.

Verbatum: A teacher. Clean-cut.

Testament: Decked out in Goth. Spiked bracelets and dog collars. Skinny Puppy shirt. Black cargos and Black army boots.

Silent - An asian dude. Stacks of unplayed games on shelves and whatever.

DSD - Rugal avatar

L. Illicious - Definitely a black dude. Smokin' J's and playing Street Fighter in a rundown apartment. Capcom button-layout Joysticks for every system since SNES.

foxfire - Looks like a librarian. Glasses, skinny. Playing MD3.

Master Terry - Fit and muscular. Lots of girls around, but they are only "friends". Hentai Saturn games and all other games on the floor of a dorm.

Turf Masta - Avatar (whatever it's supposed to b of)

nick_th_fury - A biker. Rugged.

This is a really tough question... I have learned in the past that people you meet online look nothing like you think. With the avatar it makes it even harder for me. I can, however give some personalities.

Playing a few guys on PSO helped a little.

DigiPunk: Seems like a pretty outgoing guy. risk taker.

Masta Terry: Seems like he keeps to himself, more of an intellectual, smart as fuck.

Biomotor: Seems like a goofy bastard. Always willing to try something new and strange. DDK numba one!

Those are just a few, and I just think they look like their avatar...

Digi, My avatar is supposed to be Maxima. Although it really doesnt look like him much. I am a big Maxima fan, love using him in 99 and 2000. The only thing we share in the avatar are the chops. heh...
