I would work too. Call it whatever you want, but I call it pride and respect for myself and others as human beings. Leeching off of others is something too many people are pro's at in this country. I could tell you stories about neighbors or whatever, I know people who can tell stories about their neighbors or whatever, it's sickening when you think about it all. And the thing that frightens me the most about these leeches is the fact that they are so easily paving the way for communism and they don't seem to know or care. No thanks, I'd rather not live in a nation where people depend on Big Brother for every single thing. I'd rather not be yet another sheep in the system.

I actually had to make this decision. I'm very happy I chose work. It's good for perks, neogeo, self-esteem and many other countless benefits.

The same anology can be applied to emulators. Although I do support emulators and no doubt some of the roms out there came from my pcbs I must say that there is a certain satisfaction? that comes from knowning that your hard earned cash went for something that you believe in. If you like a game, buy it. If you want to live/eat/survive you gotta work.

Work! How the hell could I afford a Neo collection if I was just taking the check? Shit... I couldn't even go out to eat all the time like I love to do!

Yeah its funny, Kyo. We pay for tons of stupid ass lazy rejects who dont want to work. They either just get their "unemployment" check, or claim some fake disability. I have no problem helping out those who actually need it, but all the bums we give away our money to pisses me off.

Right now I am unemployed and cannot find suitable work. I could take unemployment, but I choose not to. (Yes, living with the 'rent is lame, but desperate times call for desperate measures. It helps to get along with your family).

If you got booted on your ass at your current job right now, you'd find that it isn't easy, (especially as a recent college graduate with no work experience) to find a job. Besides, to collect unemployment, you have to have worked a fixed amount of hours during a set period of time prior to unemployment. You paid into it, so why not take advantage of it during tough times? You'll find a job eventually, and you'll pay back the money to the general pool 100X down the road...

Just my thoughts.

Maybe you can get a job at Diversions or some other place where you are surrounded by games. No Game Fellas though... although they still cary imports. I dont know man, sounds shitty, wish I could help.
