I don't know when the US release date is, but there seemed to be no shortage of this game while I was in Japan. Almost every freakin' game store had GT3 prominently running on some sort of display monitor, and I must admit that it looks damn sweet. I'll be buying the US version when it's finally released.

I thought I read somewhere it was 6/11, but I could be wrong. Anybody that works at GoodGuys or BestBuy knows?

I asked the editor of gamespot about the current release date of 7/10/01:

They never announced any official date other than 7/10, so they never really delayed it.

There was talk about trying to make June right before the Japanese version shipped, but that was just...well...talk.

If they weren't changing out the soundtrack and adding a car, I'm sure it'd be out by now.
