Saturn Sport Games

Here are some newly acquired sport games I got for the Sega Saturn:

-NHL '97
-NHL All Star Hockey '98
-WorldWide Soccer '97
-Madden '98
-NBA Action '98

What are your thoughts on those five sport titles?
Which hockey game between those two do you prefer?

I prefer NASH '98 for some reason... and WWS 97 is AWESOME!!! Even if you have little interest in the sport of soccer (ditto me) you'll still love the game. Awesome game, awesome intro.

Madden 98 I didn't care about much, not a big football fan here.

NBA Action 98 was pretty good, pretty fun, and overall a fairly decent effort. Solid.

Feel free to talk about any other sport title for the Saturn.

I like Hat Trick Hero S myself. This is a cool Japanese soccer game that is a Taito F3 system port.

It leaves Virtua Striker eating its dust. The Hyper Shoot feature kicks ass. You can activate a HS before the throw-in. Once you're in position and launch a kick, this special technique will show your kicker in a close-up, where he gives the ball one fierce hit that sends it flying right into the goal (and it will knock the goalie right into the net with it if he's in the way! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> ).

The continue screen is hilarious. After a loss, you see your "Ace" player basically pleading with you to hit the continue button.

I know you didn't pick it up but I think that the best hockey game for saturn is NHL Powerplay '96. The developer is the same developer that does sega's hockey games for dreamcast.

The World Series Baseball games for the Saturn are good.
