GULITY GEAR X rerelease on the PS2

I don't know if this is old news but the Magic Box says the game GUILTY GEAR X will be released on the PS2 in Japan and America.

- Sammy confirmed that they will be releasing the PlayStation 2 port Guilty Gear X in both US and Japan in September, the hit arcade / Dreamcast fighting game developed by Arc System Works.

I bet the DC rev is better.

But you never know..

The PS2 may surprise us.
Perhaps the PS2 could be suited for 2D.

I really don't know if it'll be better or not. I just hope its HighRes like the dreamcast version. HDTV compatibility would be very nice!

Tekken 4, Soul calibur 2, CvS 2,Final Fantasy 10, Next Dragon Quest,Metal gear Solid, Virtua Fighter 4, Dead or Alive 3...

first Capcom vs. SNK 2, now Guilty Gear X. both are coming to the PS2! rad!
next thing we'll know, King of Fighters 2000 and Project Justice might even show up on the PS2 bandwagon as well.

this is an entirely 2d game unlike CVS2 and i wonder if ps2's 4 meg vram could handle the 2d graphical intensity.really curious to know.... <IMG SRC="smilies/eek2.gif" border="0">

I'm glad I got GGX SE imported. *Phew* Who knows how PS2 version will turn out. It's too bad the game kinda stinks looking back at it now.
