Last game you threw controller while playing..

What was the last game you played that frustrated you so much that you threw the controller during play?

I haven't done it in a long time.. I have surprising self-control for a gamer.. But I would have to say Ninja Gaiden for NES. That last level knows no mercy !

I threw the playstation controller at my brother once after 98 matches of Tekken 3. He was up by 3 and we play by the rules that the person with the most wins at 100 wins. Of course after this event happened, he continued to kick my ass not only in the game but in real life also.

Neo Home version Ninja combat !!

It's fine until stage 3 or 4 but..
after that..it's impossible to clear with only 4 (8 for including 2p side) credits

There are only one energy recover item in this game and these only comes out in early part of stage 1 !!
Nothing after stage 1,

From stage 4 every enemy hit you once and you die !!
I dies every 10 seconds during boss battle unless I use special attack every second.
As soon as I finish to use all of 3 special,I die...

I've been playing many games for 20 years but this is so bloody frustrating.

When Cham Cham cheated on me back in 94 and my very large neo controller went flying across the room! That was i vision i didnt want to see again and am now very controlled person. GOD DAMMIT!!!

I thought AES version has unlimited continues.......at least my copy has it.

Same here. I practice the zen of anger dissipation. I channel the urge to throw the controller away from my hands and let it travel to my mouth where obscenities are uttered, LOL.

lets see...my most recent ones are:

Fatal Fury , well...i pounded the hell out of my control panel...i couldnt throw it.

Capcom Vs. SNK , my VMU's went flyin'

Megaman X5 , i go through that with every megaman game in the begining...then they piece of cake

what about systems?? any of you throw a system? i chucked my mario64 cart across the room and then through my N64 ontop of it. its still tickin'

I never throw my controllers. I always just grip them even tighter when I get pissed at a game. I don't want to break it...so it stays in my hand =)

Soul caliber for DC My frien let me borrow the damnable game and said try a 3-d fighter. Afret many frustraiting trys I threw one of those big arcade stix w/the green buttons at the system.
Bought him a new game, and hade to pull the old switch-aroo w/best buy for the cd reader. Havent ever done it before (on purpose) havent done it since...
Damn those 3-D fighters!!!!!!!

Yep! Me too. It was when it first came out. I delivered the last blow to the demon, only for one of his bullets to hit me and send me AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way back (Again)! I was in 5th grade I think. The PC Engine one is MUCH more forgiving!

anybody played colony wars vengeance? yeah,that game is so frustrating that i almost lost my sanity.i didnot throw the controller but i piled up the anger and vented it on my studies(something more constructive,eh?).i got straight As.lol,i could even vent my frustration on my family if i want to but....its not right. <IMG SRC="smilies/redface.gif" border="0">

OK. I did not throw the controller. I took the game out withut powering off my DC, and threw the game disc as hard as possible against my brick wall. the game in question: Jet Grind Radio. I DESPISE the "control" in the stupid facking game. I should have never givin another crap 3D game a chance. I finally smiled after the game disc was well and truly dead. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I think Magician Lord last April. I actually busted my MAS systems joystick in the process, although weeks later I finally got around to having a go at repairing it, and was able to. Pretty "lucky" that time.

Tell you one thing though, those NES (& esp. SNES) controllers bounce pretty well off the ground. They get great height with their "leaps of fait."

I can't remember the last time I threw down a controller, but I know it was a PSX controller...
I never ever threw down my Saturn controller.. oh no, that thing is a beaut. Can't afford to ruin it.

As a gamer, I'm fairly self-controlled. But one time, I wanted to tip over an ARCADE MACHINE!!!

World Heroes 2.... damn that NEO DIO! He was invincible!! But, when Perfect rolled around, he was a piece of cake... Hanzou's new teleportation skills really helped! <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

I think I have problems suppressing my anger. But like Bakuretsu says most of the time if I do get angry instead of breaking something I tend to "channel my zen" towards my mouth and let the swear words fly all over the place.

Last time I threw a controller? When I was playing SF2 On the SNES at Level 8 and I was trying to be M. Bison with Dhalsim.

DAMN he was one of the cheapest bosses I've ever taken on. I gave myself a blister because I was doing everything I could to beat the fricken thing 'cause I couldn't beat the boss. Pure luck allowed me to finally beat M. Bison and see Dhalsim's ending.
