In tow of the other Simpson thread I'll ask this... I wonder why the networks never made a slightly violent but comedic off shoot series with the Schwartznegger like character of MC Bain?

I still remember the old skits with him punching his boss out the window to his death after saying: "Mcbain your finished!" then he punched Mendoza out the window "That makes two of us!"

or the time his partner and him were eating hot liks in the diner and there was a shoot out... stuff like this but made as a regular series, I for one would record it, the Simpsons overall for me is still funny but I'd like to see an older version of Bart and the ppl begin to progress instead of being forever young... and having a MC Bain series would rock! Anyone else like him?

Hes very cool, but realistically hes only funny for very short scenes. An entire Arnie pastiche mini series would get old fast.

A Mc Bain Series wouldn't work However It's time for a simpsons movie and while a 2 hour episode wouldn't work maybe a full fledged Mc Bain flick would work.

Yes I am Aware there was a movie called Mc Bain that flopped. (which came out after the simpsons had their McBain)

If there is going to be any Simpsons Spinoff I think it'll be Moe.

Matt Groening has been hinting at it for years.

A Moe mini series would be pretty darn sweet. Hes certianly one of the most developed non-family characters.

Jay Sherman: "How do you sleep at night?"
McBain: "On top of a pile of money, with many beautiful, naked ladies."

Great quote.

If not a min-series spinoff with Moe I think it'll be with Lenny and Carl. Next to Moe they're the next well developed and liked non-family characters.

McBain deserves like a hour movie type thing, there's way to much to do with him and 30 minutes isn't enuff for him

"Up and At Atom!"

"Up and At Them!"

Why not just close your eyes when the writing that says Metal Slug comes up and say 'McBain' under your breath instead?

I have to say that it would work really well as a mini series. So I agree to an extent. I would like to see a 10 epsiode run of the person that McBain is played by; Ranir Wolfcastle. You could add in the critic character as well. Pure gold, I say.

There is a problem though, Phil Hartmen was the voice for McBain and they retired the character permanently. So an animated McBain movie will never happen.

Man it doesn't even sound like Phil Harmtman, in the name of Mcbain I never knew that. Well so much for that idea, but it's not like it would be hard to mimic an Austrian accent, though it would make more sense to have a Mcbain stand alone movie. It'll never happen though :( But it would be great if they ever did a ITCHY & SCRATCHY stand alone spin off.
