You asked for it- My dislike for Mormons

1. Like Johovas Witnesses they harass you at your door begging you to join.

2. The book of Mormon- Claims Jesus came back in "ancient America" However unlike the bible his has not been proven via research or archological Findings. While the bible as it is has been proven 78% true (by chritians jews and athesits mind you I'll work on finding an article that explains that so it doesn't sound like I'm pulling it out of my ass)

3. South Park- why do those 2 have such a hard on for mormons they aren't mormons are they.

4. I do admit Orgasmo is a funny movie.

5. The Osmonds Is Donnie and Marie enough to make one not like mormons?

6. Too many kids- they have to much offspring.

I don't like Jehovas witnesses either they're slave Drivers. Scientoligists I can't stand.

Other Faiths I embrace-

Buddism-they got something there
Islam- they're getting a bad rap because of the retard terroists.
Jedaism- They're on the right track
Luscasologly- or Star Wars Fanism

If you are Mormon I Apologize This is just my opionion. I am a Reverend in the Universal life Church a Chruch which belives in equality of Faiths.

I will pray for you Bemani, you actually took the time to come up with reasons for this? Dude I have a few friends whom none could surpass that are Mormon... sure they can being annoying at times but then who the heck isn't. BTW, what type of Christian are you? Maybe someone will find a reason to diss you too. I for one have no denomination and am great friends with all religions simply because in the end it's what you feel and believe spiritually... Religion is but a method by which a person's spirituality is further guided by a precieved protocol. Once no doubt for power and control, but now nothing is stopping most ppl from going where they feel their spirit is in harmony with that perspective on GOD.

Having been Buddhist for 4 years also reinforced my Christianity... but at a spirtitual level in knowing once and for all that Jesus is my lord. Whether or not Brigam Young was Christ reincarnated or not is not the point. Wasn't it you not to long ago who said he'd stop antagonizing others? I too jump into particular debates in the Forums, but as a rule I try to leave the religious/political stuff out of here just because it just proves that those two just promote more intollerance than anything else, which is why ppl should simply get what they need from the method that religion is, and work on themselves as a spititual being encased in a biological housing on this plain... and realize we are merely tennents on Earth and cannot own a damn thing. Why you began attacking Mormons or anyone else in a thread that you had originally posted about you being Single and the fact that a lot of us tried to give you advice, is something that bewilders me.

Hate to rain on your parade there guys but religion by and large is a bunch of crap. It is more of a way to control the masses than anything else.
Religion is based on the faith that their is something out there bigger than us that watches over us. This is grounded in primal fear, fear of the dark unknown things you can't understand. The bible is a very good story book that tries to tell people how they should act towards others as well as themselves.
But lets really think about this now GOD and the Devil are just the opposite sides of human nature. We are all just as capable of being helpfull and peaceful to one another just as we are all capable of visiting the worst kinds of torment and pain on each other.
I personally see religion as just a very quick way to start an argument with someone. And is it not ironic that something that is suppose to promote peace and harmony is the one thing through out history (including these modern times we live in) that has caused the death or torture of millions of people.
Just my 2 cents.

Not that I have anything against mormons
on a personal level, but jesus man, I was
sitting in a school parking lot, in
my car and as I was getting out, this guy
makes a mad dash towards me, almost slams
me into my car door and shoves a bible in
my hand. Well, needless to say, I gave it
right back but good lord...I often think
those people should just give up on their
religon and join the olympics, I bet you
they'd have a better success rate anyway.

And you know if I lived during the crucades I'd probably have disliked Christians too. There are some Christians that I just can't stand either. 700 Club anybody.

The ULC isn't really a Relgion. They just ordain you a minister in 5 mins or less or your next order's free.

He is a minister from a place that will make anyone an ordained minister in 5 minutes or less. You can even super size it and get fries with it too.
