Everyone talks about with fond memories of...

Mercs, Contra, Super Contra, heck I've seen a post or two in my time here about "Heavy Barrell"

but has everyone forgot about RAMBO III for the Mega Drive/Genesis? Sure the game was one of the earliest titles for the system and it's based loosely on the movie, but it's the best of the Rambo games ever produced not to mention a pretty good top-down shooter overall more in the vein of Shock Troopers than MERCS. I've been playing this game again after some time and I'm just hooked on it.

Anyone else remember/like/play RAMBO III ?

Yeah its a good megadrive title....bloody old now too.

The alternative bits when it changes view to shoot down helicopters was amazing in its day

Rambo III is cool..

I don't have a copy of that game anymore.
I do have a boxed Rambo II(First blood and a loose cart for the Master System.

But one of my favorites is Caliber 50 on the Genesis..
I always will own a copy of that game.

I have it ont he MegaDrive. I love it. It's short, but it's sweet. Shooting the 4 way bombs in the prison was the coolest.

Yeah, i'd say that metal slug is more than suspiciously like Gun Force 2, seeing as gunforce 2 came out first in 1994.

Much in the same way that latter day KOF characters and moves are copied straight out of Psyiko's Daraku Tenshi - the fallen angels......SNK and the teams supporting NEOGEO are rip off merchants, but i would say the neo games are better.

i just played gun force 2 (da ROMZZZ) and OMG i just lost that much respect for metal slug. some sounds sound like they were directly lifted from gf2.
