A question for U.K. members.....

Hey!

My question is about the U.K. version of Silent Hill 2 for the PS2. I have heard that your version comes with a second DVD disc with some goodies on the making of the game and such. Is this true, and is there anyway I can get a hold of one (I live in the US, and can play any region DVD)? Thanks in advance!

Yep its true.
It comes with a second DVD that will play on any regular DVD-player which has a 30min documentry on the making of the game. Its fairly interesting stuff, and you also get the usual concept art and so on.

Not sure how you could get hold of a copy though.
I'm not sure if any UK games shops ship overseas.

Yeah, I've got Silent Hill 2 SE with the DVD (one of the first games I got for PS2 :) )

Try searching amazon.co.uk

They'll usually ship anywhere. Alternatively ask a UK member very nicely to buy it for you, repay them plus shipping to the US, and Robert's Your fathers Brother you'll have SH 2 SE.

No, you can't buy the DVD seperately.

Yeah, the pal version is a really nice looking set. It also has a ltd ed.sticker included. Quite hard to find one mint as everyone i see usually has a abattered cardboard box, same with Ico. Why the fuck can't people just look after their stuff? drives me fucking nuts.

OK, here is my next question: I looked at Amazon.co.uk, and they have one brand new for 25 pounds, problem is, they won't ship to the US <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> . So, I'm asking if anyone would be willing to order one from them, and ship it to me. I'll send money to cover all the charges as well as sending it to the US of course. Anyway, I'd be glad to help but I'd be really pleased if you would let me send you this and money if you would send me two Zeldas for the Cube with the pre order goodies.

i have never actually tried it

most of my friends love it, in fact 1 of the guys who came out to visit me last year (Gibraltar) actually brought 2 bottles in his hand luggage

its amazing that something that is brewed in pointy head land (looks at kernow) only really sells in Scotland
