Remember in the 1980's when Bandai sold those cool little M.U.S.C.L.E. action figures? They were pink, small and ultra-detailed. They came in 10 packs in a small little plastic garbage can (or you could get multipacks with more figures) and there was a cool wrestling ring attachment for one-on-one battles. As to how many different figures there were, that's tough to say but they were fun to collect! And for those of us who owned NES systems back in the early days, there was a M.U.S.C.L.E. NES wrestling game released by Bandai.

I heard Bandai is selling them again, but this time they are painted or molded in different colors, but I haven't seen any in stores. Has anyone seen them for sale yet? How are they packaged?

I found some of those figures in my garage the other day. Are they worth anything?

HELL YEAH! *Kinnikuman* IS THE SHIT! Bandai is hopefully releasing the series most know as MUSCLE because maybe they are planning on introducing Kinnikuman to Cartoon Network? Man that would be freggin' cool. I've only seen the opening animation for the Tv-series but never an actual episode. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!

Most likely, it was on Fox. One of the good things about Fox is some of the shows they have on now. Also, they jettisoned Power Rangers and Digimon to Disney (I think Digimon is distributed by Buena Vista).

But the Kirby cartoon... well, sucks. They changed so many of the characters from the game. mad_2

Explanation for the uninitiated:

Game: Dedede is pretty much a misunderstood guy, it seems. At best, his intentions are good, but the way he seeks to achieve them leaves much to be desired. At worst, he's usually acting "not of his own accord" as they say.
Series: He's a mean, heartless bastard (and not the "hand and a half" sword kind) who takes joy from the suffering of his subjects/slaves.

Game; MetaKnight is usually pretty nasty. In one of the games in Kirby Super Deluxe, he plans to use a ship called the Halberd to take over Dream Land.
Series: He seems like a mysterious "shadowy figure" or something.

Yeah it comes on FOX in the "Fox Box" on saturday morning around 9, right before Fighting Foodons and Kirby.

Speaking of fox cartoons, the New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon comes on the 8th of February on saturday on Fox.

I have like 30 M.U.S.C.L.E guys in my room as I type this. Heh, for the ring I just use a lunchbox!

I had lots of fun with them and what I loved most was the inexpensiveness of the toys. I remember it cost .99 for one pack (which houses 4 figures)

It was fun to collect them, trade 'em, and play with them. The only thing that rivaled them to me were BATTLE BEAST.

Battle Beasts was ill.

I was in kindergarten when they were the craze and boy what a time to be a five-year-old boy!

The quality is higher than MUSCLE which explained the 2 figure 1.99 cost (I think it was 1.99 retail) as opposed to MUSCLE's 4 figure .99 packs.

I like to mix BB with MUSCLE and wage wars all afternoon back in the late 80s/early 90s. Those were the days.
