Someone at work told me a friend of his was interested in selling his Turbografx 16 with five games for 50 bucks. I went ahead on the offer, and got it today.

I was overjoyed to find out it had a carrying case, extra joystick, extension cable, AND the CD system add on!!

HUCARD- Dungeon Explorer, Bloody Wolf

CD - Jack Nicklaus Golf, Last Alert, Cosmic Fantasy 2 and Ys Book I & II!

Got it set up quickly, works GREAT.

What relatively cheap games should I get??? Not looking for anything rare <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Oh yeah, to play import CD games (I have Godzilla Super CD) Id need an import system card, right?

Do yourself a favor and buy the Valis series if you can find it. The stories are well-written, the graphics are beautiful, and the cinemas just plain rock. :)

What system card did yours come with? I will assume a 2.0 card.

You don't need any adaptors to play import CD games, just need to make sure that you have the right system version card.

Super CD games can only be played on 3.0 cards or better.

Unless you want to play import Arcade card games, cause then you will need an adaptor for the Arcade card itself.

Yup, 50 dollars for the whole setup!

broken- thats for the advice on the CD system. that is the problem right there. I only have the 2.0 card, will need a 3.0 to play Godzilla since its a Super CD.

Man, there are so many great Turbo games, I'm not sure where to start. Anyway, If you like shooters, you're in luck. Pick up Soldier Blade, possible the best HuCard shooter.

Good deal man. The TG-16 is a great system for shooters, but it has some classic side scroller action/adventure too.

Just stay away from the TV sports series of games, and you should be fine, there are a ton of good games on this system.
