I have a 2 gamecubes, a Q and a regular one. If I play the game on one system, can I also play in on another system(online-wise, same account)?

I don't know about online, but I was able to play my disc on another gamecube offline.

Why don't you try it. I think I heard it worked for some people. This is just what I heard! I am really not sure!

Actually, i'm kinda curious about something. Would it be possible to sort of make a backup of a character? Meaning, copy 1 character to 2 different memory cards? I'm guessing that this wouldn't be possible as it would be a way people would dupe items and meseta but I shiver at the idea of losing the little bit of a character that i've got. (only on level 43 but still, it's taken a lot of work)

is there a way to play online, without having to pay the monthly fees?

The Dreamcast version of PSO was limited to only one system. If you needed to change the system it would be played on you would have to deal with Sega about it, which I heard wasn't easy. (This was all meant as a form of copy protection)

So I would think that they would stick to the same formula for the GC version, but you never know. Email Sega and find out I guess. Otherwise first play on the system you would rather have it on, and just for the hell of it use the other one second.
