Anticipating several items in the mail over a close span of time:Your most memorable?

For example, if you're waiting on say, 4 different games that you really want, and they're all due to come within a week of each other.

When was your most memorable "jam-packed mail anticipation" moment? What items were they (they don't have to be games), and were you satisfied with the outcome, or more so the hunt itself?

For me, that "jam-packed mail anticipation" moment is NOW.
I'm awaiting:

-Real Bout Special guide and King of Fighters 97 guide (for Saturn) from Japan. I don't see these guides often and apparently they're hard as hell to find these days, even in Japan!

-A 'compact Saturn 97 guide book' from the United Kingdom. Over 100 pages and in color... I can't wait to see how this turns out.

-Astal and Clockwork Knight 2... finally I'll be able to play these platformers

-And... a super rare Saturn import title that I'll talk more about in the coming week or so. From a price standpoint, it's even more expensive than Radiant Silvergun! I'm sure you know what import I'm talking about... impressions will be posted in about 10 days... I know you can't wait. wink

All these items are due in the next 5-10 days. Woo-hoo

Garou and AoF3 JPN homecarts, about a three weeks ago. I'm very happy with them.

if this is your attempt to brag its pretty poor but to add to my post count... i awaited cool cool toon for the dc, my neo geo aes system, shining the holy ark for the saturn,einhander and my ngpc in the same week.

Just a couple weeks ago actually.

Got Samurai Spirits 4 JP homecart, Samurai Spirits 1 and 2 original soundtracks, and a really nice Samurai Spirits 2 poster all from NBM.

In the same week got Samurai Spirits 3, Real Bout 2, and Fatal Fury Special homecarts in a trade with mikace01.

Also got a couple other items that got so overshadowed by the Neo carts, I forgot what they were.

Waiting for my stuff in a pretty nice trade this week.

Sometimes I'm waiting for a lot of stuff at the same time, and I forget about some of them...

Like the time I forgot about the Shock Boxes coming in, and then this huge package came... wink

I have 5 Neo CD games on the way at the moment.
KOF '95, KOF '96, Gan Gan, Fighter's History Dynamite and World Heroes Perfect. I cannot wait to tear into WHP!

this past christmas. i had ms3, kof98, ffspecial, ss2, <strong>super sidekicks 2</strong>, marvel super heroesv.s. street fighter, and pso for gc. all coming from different folks.

Well I'm always waiting in anticipation everyday.
Since I buy "too" much stuff off Ebay.
It's a fn addiction.

Last Week I was anticipating the Metal Slug 3 MVS game I bought off Briggs.(awesome)
I basically get a package everyday.

I'm anticipating 4 AES carts that should be here this week.

Mainly I'm anticipating a Blue's Journey MVS cart that should be here this week.

I bought a bunch but these are my most anticipated.

Other stuff I won I cant think about for another week or two.

But I think it may be more worry then anticipation for me sometimes.

Bill Burger has sent me 6 MVS carts already and 4 other large Marquees.
I wanted to get the games so I could play them but I was worried that the marquees could be broken.
Luckily both shipments were perfect.
I worry that the MVS carts I buy may be boots.

Whenever I buy a Vintage gaming systenm off Ebay I wait in anticipation.

One of the biggest anticipated Ebay items was a large lot of Nintendo Carts and Systems that had many rare carts in the lot.

The auction ended around $500.00,but the seller gave me a very low shipping total.
So I was worrying too.
The Huge package arrived here by UPS with everything listed.

Hmmm.. I can't pick out the biggest moment, but right now I'm very VERY excited about getting a huge part of my Dragonball carddass collection in the mail (should be here today), and I'm also expecting a ring that I will be giving to my wife next month (REAL excited about that). I was also excited when I got jpn Gan Gan and AOF3 in the mail in the same week as I got several other Neo games.
