My Game posters keep falling off the walls every now and then and its a pain in the ass to have to restick them.

I've tried ordinary tape, and blue-tack (the putty stuff), but they just keep falling.

Anyone got any solutions that won't mutilate my posters or my wall?

Thanx in advance...

-Edit: foxed up my spelling mistooks.

Did you ever try Fun-Tac? It's like green colored, and they sell it at Walmart.

Get some frames. You can get some cheap ones with a cardboard back and just a piece of clear plastic protecting the poster.

You know, I've used regular ol' 3M Scotch tape to put up my "Welcome to the Next Level" Sega poster and various others when I first bought the genesis in 90-91, and they haven't budged since. Not even an inch...

I guess if you don't bother them or shake the room too much, they'll stay up for many years.

Then again, it depends on what the walls of your place are made of, wallpaper, etc...

Hanging frames on nails is a very secure method. Not to mention framed posters look even more valuable and very professional!

I priced having my kof 2k1 poster (30"x40" approx) matted/mounted/framed and it was over 300$. A family member who is in art college will be doing the work for me for about 50$. I say do it yourself, it's not terribly difficult and the results are much better than sticking them up with gum/tacks.

fuck that matting shit.

you go to wal-mart you pick up a $10 frame.

thats it, end of story. you dont need video game posters in big 2 in wide museum frames, hell that makes it look worse.

you buy the really skinny black framed ones, or the kind with no frames at all. the ones with no frames look awesome, i got my grandia map in one.

Those cheap black frames are trailer park chic. i don't think so. And yes, kof posters should be in nice frames, and not all tacked and shit like someone who eats government cheese would like.

btw: FUCK walmart.

gamest posters come folded.

i dont want to ruin it trying to flatten it out.

i dunno, but videogame posters look out of place in professionally matted and framed $300 deals. its just wrong.

just get a frame for all of your posters since

1) it does not damage your posters.

2)very easy to hang.

3)do not have to worry about falling off

4)does not put a bunch of thumb tak holes on wall

what size are the posters if it is a common size you should have no problem getting frames.
