No they really don’t suck I am just upset at the ranking system in Capcom vs. SNK 2 on the X-box. Whose freaking idea was it to let the person who backs out on a fight at the last second count against you? This is moronic. I know it’s just a game but it’s not fun when people cheat. Half the people I have played in the last 2 days back out right before my last winning stance. Why would someone do this? It’s stupid. So know it looks like I have over 50 loses when in reality I might have 20-25. Can Capcom fix this crap? I am assuming they don’t care since they have our money already. From now on I refuse to play anyone I don’t know. The problem with that is that the people I know are rarely on. Has this happened to anyone else constantly or do I have bad luck and end up fighting against scrubs.

I'm with you, but here's my take on it: You're not the only one. This is what happens to EVERYONE. And soon, everyone will take this into account. Sucks, but it's the facts of life on this game.

If I see someone with about 70% wins, I know they're one badass mo fo. I don't think "oh good, he's lost 30%", because of the backout system. I've even had a few people that were nice as could be back out. One guy had to go, and I'm sure he didn't know that he was fucking me when he just left like that. No big deal, it happens to us all. I've got about 15 games that should be wins, and aren't. Oh well.

If someone leaves the game, it's a loss for the other guy?

That's messed up...

What is the logic behind that?

It should be : you quit - you lose... oh_no

It isn't a loss, since it doesn't actually list losses. It just lists number of matches, and how many wins. I have my beefs with this record keeping as well, I wish it simply stated how many wins, losses, and disconnects. A stat for disconnects would be helpful.

On the other hand, those who disconnect all the time will end up with a huge number of non-wins anyway. Just sucks when you beat down someone and they bail right at the end. Like X-Band all over again. I'm just thankful as hell that we have a solid online playable fighting game. I wish to God that Sega would make VF4E for the Box with XBL support. Lord that would rule.

It happend to me last night for the first time. These punks suck ass. If they can't take the heat, why do they even bother. It's competitive game, there are bound to be losses. I doubt capcom will fix this, but, hopefully, they'll learn from their mistake.

you re right.
they dont care.
other wise you would have seen things
like sfa3, sf3 I, II, ts, mvc2, tech romancer, jojo, sfturbo, vampire chronicles and
skads more games for matching service.
i d say just deal with it.
fuck the losers that cant take it.
i dont mind losing. i usually try to see if i
can take anything from the fight.
but pulling out like that is lame.

Warcraft 3 has the best system. If you disconect you lose simple.
