DDR on occasion and PIU. I can't play too much DDR anymore 'cause of the smoke at Brian's.

I'd like to be, but:

1.) No good arcades here.
2.) Importing these games is pain in the ass.

Looks like I'll just have to settle for Samba de Amigo.

Yes.

At GameWorks, there are DDR USA and DDR 3rd Mix.

On Dreamcast, I've got the DDR 2nd Mix DC edition.

For Playstation- here are the ones I've got:

DDR (USA version)
DDR 2nd Mix (Japan)
DDR Club Mix Vol 2 append (Japan)
Beatmania (Japan 2nd, 3rd, 4th mixes)
Guitar Freaks (Japan)

Frankly, the 3rd Mix version leaves arcade DDR USA eating its dust. It's got Dam Dariram, Captain Jack, The Race, and others that were left out of the USA rev. Now if I can find a PS import of that one...

I'd like to see HHMCM2 come out in the USA with ALL the songs intact.

I am a huge bemani fan (check my email address):

Games

Beatmania 2nd Mix on PSX
Beatmania Best Hits Collection PSX
Dance Dance Rev (Hate it cause I don't have the pad) on DC
Pop n Music on DC
Pop n Music 2 on DC
Pop n Music Append 3 on DC

By far I think Pop n Music is my favorite, I just love the way it plays. At first glance it looks like a kiddie version of Beatmania, then you realize that it is 9 lines that can randomly move and shift, plus party mode rocks!

Hey Jackal,
Do you have the Guitar also for Guitar Freaks. I do, I was just curious if many people imported the Guitar and the game.

ive only got ddr club mix for my dc. I love the ddr series. it always looked interesting, and last year when i went to universal studios florida they had a ddr usa machine in thier arcade in the marvel part of the theme park. I would have to say, its one of the best games ive played and good for the health. Since i'm around fellow players, do you know ANYWERE were i can get 2nd mix for my dc? I can never find it and its driving me crazy! I really dont want to play ebay prices and pirating isnt really my thing, but $5 is starting to sound much better than $80, especially when im strapped for cash.

*Nruva* Check ebay: they have the hard dance pads for dc on there now, so now we dont have to pay the outlandish shipping from hong kong

Yep, I've also got the guitar. It's pretty good IMO. On some songs, you just about need it (like "The Endless Summer" where you hit that long string of 16th notes). My friend tried to play GF with the Beatmania controller and didn't do so well.

The Expert bonus song "Lucky?Staff" is almost impossible. I'd rate it 9 stars on the scale of 1-8.
