they have finished the debugging of the game.the game seems to be complete so when is the release date? this is the last best dc game.

I'm waiting for that game.

I can't wait to see Shenmue 2, the first was breathtaking. I love it when a new type of game comes out. Originallity is all importent sometimes.

I am also a Shenmue freak. You can count me in getting one on launch day. I loved the graphics and gameplay. It was one of the few games that I played straight through, in consecutive days without playing anything else. I was just pulled into Suzuki's world. The voice work was excellent but I wish they still kept the japanese with english subs as an option (like in Sonic). I hope that the third chapter will also come to the Dreamcast, domestically.

Didn't he get that from the fight with Lan Di at the beginning? I can't remember for sure if he has it on before that. I just hope Nazome appears in it..... Man, Ryo and her belong together!

Yes, Shenmue was a good game. It had some great atmosphere. Really pulled you in.

I doubt part III will be on DC. DC will have died by then. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

Didn't Yu Suzuki say that there wouldn't be a part 3? and that the story will wrap up in 2?

I thought Yu Suzuki said that more than 3 chapters........?

Ya, this game rocks. I bought it and really didnt like it at first, then i sat down and played it and didn't stop until i completed it. Overall a great game that should be wrapped up in chapter 2 instead of leaving a broken ending, it may come out one x-box depending on the success on Shenmue 2 release.I will definately buy it.

there are altogether 16 chapters in shenmue.maybe the future chapters may be moved to next generation consoles.
