When you die, would you rather be buried or cremated? (sp?) And why?

hmm... cremated. Why? you ask? I don't really know. I just like the idea that after I die, anyone who wants to desecrate me, their chances are nil. It's a samurai/jedi thing I guess.

Perhaps I have the idea that if I have some sort of gravemarker, I'm asking for pity from the living that I'm dead. I guess I'd rather have people get on with their lives after I die.

If anyone else has a problem with that, I'm all ears.

Neither! I saw this procedure on the discovery channel where they dry out your body, and pack it with Iron filings, sawdust, gunpowder, and clay. The ingredients for fireworks! Then they wrap your body in cheesecloth, and one day a year, they launch all of the bodies they have prepared into the air, where they explode, and produce a brilliant aerial firwoerk, and at the same time, reduce your body to ash and scatter it to the four winds! I want that!

Cremated and use my ash as fertilizer for the soil. There is no need to spend money on a dead person. Should benefit the living.

Cremated. There is always a chance that you aren't really dead, and could wake up in a buried casket.

Amen to that!! who wants to be sliced open while still alive. Its like an episode of tales from the crypt I think where this guy, takes a drug or something to look dead.
And at end, the start chopping his head open, and hes watchin, but cant say nothin or do nothin.

Man,I remember a topic like this a while back...I can't remember exactly what I said, but it was along the lines of:

-Having a rave in a warehouse
-Have my old, dead naked body suspended by bungee cords from the ceiling
-Techno music and strobe lights
-The bungee cords moving around, making me look like a marionette
-Stroke of Midnight, body explodes, mist of confetti and candy
-Finger sandwhiches

I hate to say it, but I'll be dead. I doubt I'll care when it comes.

Of course, I prefer not to die.
