I was playing this game around 2:00am this morning. Just got it brand new from someone at descent price. To my surprise, this game (3rd in the series) has female fighter in there, May. She dresses bra and underwear and that's about it.

If Capcom censors female fighters from original SNES Final Fight, Final Fight 2 and upcoming GBA Final Fight One, how come not in Final Fight 3?

I still don't understand..........

P.S. FF3 plays a lot like Streets of Rage 2 to me........

Final Fight 3...I really should play that. I have not even played 2 yet.

Mentioning the Street of Rage Series. A lot of people complained when they made the colours of the clothes they wore in the American version of SoR3 "Gender Neutral" (ie. making Blaze's clothes grey instead of red (RED!)). What was up with that? You still saw panty shots and such.

And besides, red was a MUCH better colour for Blaze as it matched her eyes.

Is this an Arcade game or for home system?
I have never seen it or Final Fight 2.

Final Fight 2 and 3 were released as SNES exclusives. Both were simply OK from what I heard. The original Final Fight in its definitive SEGA CD version is all you ever need to play, man.

True.
Only the first Final Fight keeps me playing over and over.

2 & 3 are okay, not the best. My opinion is that 3 is better than 2. 2 is too long and boring (and harder......).

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've bought Final Fight One for GBA a few days ago! It's the best conversion of Final Fight ever! What's even cooler is that youcan unlock Guy and Cody, in their Street Fighter Zero appearance!! This game is a must-have for every FF/SOR fan.

Yeah, but does it have a CD soundtrack? NO! Can two guys duke it out on the same big screen? Nope! It does have the cool box art, though!

Just kidding around! I really need that GBA games. I'll wait till the US version comes out or untill I can get it cheap.

EB now carries a few US GBA titles BTW. you can get Tony Hawk 2, Pinobee and Ready to Rumble 2: Shitty GBA Edition.

Now, I purchased Tony 2 and it's all great and shit, but why can't Castlevania come out early. That game is going to be out on June 11. Can't hardly wait! I'm sitting in front of my GBA just dying to play it. Sometimes I pretend I have it by playing Saturn Dracula from accross the room in with Granny's glasses on.

CASTELVANIA FOREVER!!!!!

deepest heartfelt regards,
Rade

I'm pretty sure that Final Fight One has an extra character in it..... check out the extra options screen and you'll notice that at the color selector, there's space for one more character at the bottom..... Saturday Slam Masters Haggar anyone?!!?

Rain, I didn't see the extra character......hmmm.

BTW, if anyone gets US version of GBA, let us know if Capcom USA really censors all the fun. Final Fight Forever~~~~~~~~~~`

I think the only hiddens are Z-Guy and Z-Cody, there are no more spaces in the select. It would be great though, they could use Haggar from any other Final Fight or as Slammasters Haggar.

Damn if only SEGA would make another Streets of Rage with Yuzo Kishiro. I have the Arcade PCB board of Final Fight and how overall would it differ from the Sega CD? My brother and I are huge Final Fight fans, he rode his bike about 13 miles to Babbages just to buy Final Fight on the SNES on the first day of it's release. We were amazed at the translation at the time. I was pissed that my favorite character(Guy) didn't make it.

Here are the differences between FFCD and the PCB:

1) The PCB version runs in a higher resolution (384x256) with 4,096 colors as opposed to the CD's 320x240/64 color.

2) More enemies can be present on screen at a given time in the PCB version.

3) The Beer and Whisky items have been changed to something else in the CD version (well at least the US one).

4) CD version has a little more slowdown.

5) Sodom is known as "Katana" and Damnd is "Thrasher". WHY?

6) Music is naturally better on CD version. However, the CD voices are a bit "Haggar'd" sounding compared to the PCB.

7) The PCB version can suffer from the dreaded malady known as "Capcom Suicide" if the battery runs out.

Capcom Suicide: Every CPS1 Board has a small battery on it that will eventually run out.... when it does, the system effectively commits suicide..... The battery saves memory settings (I think) and if you want it replaced, you need to send the board back to Capcom.

what?
That's so stupid.......
That means you can't play it anymore if you don't send it back to Capcom to replace battery? Can you do it by yourself?

that means you have to be a quick-hand to do it......
Maybe Kenshiro from "Fist of the North Star" can do it

Its a daft system used by Capcom thats for sure...... at least they do it for free though (I think) CPS2 has the same battery problem as well, and i'd bet that CPS3 has it too.
