to you,if the first one is bad that doesn't mean the second one will be the same.surely it would be better especially with hugh jackman as wolverine.i'm certain that missing characters such as gambit and beast and some others would be in it.i'm really looking forward to the movie.the first movie has a little sense of humour if you really paid attention to it.wolvie was a little funny when he poked his middle claw at cyclops(signalling f*ck u).man,i love that part.

OMG, for you MVC players out there... Magneto in the movie looked like a shriveled old man with arthritis while the one in the game looked so muscular. What the hell were they thinking. LOL

I also like the X-men, and the movie (though I didn't care for the Rogue character). But anyways I am eagerly anticipating the new sequal, it should be cool.

rogue also don't look strong as in MVC2.instead she looked like a wimp.sabretooth looked stronger and his voice is more masculin unlike MVC2.

Well, the way I see it, there was no possible way to create the mutants as seen on th MVC series. I think they were portraying a real life scenerio. As in if they were real, what they may look like. They would look like humans. I mean no offense, but 60 year old man who looks like he is on steriods, well he would stick out to me. I think, they were giving the mutants a more low key look, not as ovious as they would be, if large, and over proportioned as in the games.

I don't like the first X-men movie. It can be better, but fail in many ways.

Fighting isn't very spectacular even though the martial art choreographer is Jet Li's best partner Yuen.

So they have started making part 2 out of 3. Let's hope that the sequel is better than the original.

I am looking forward to see my favourite X-Men 'Gambit' in the sequel. secondly, don't bring that old 'Magneto' again. i would rather see 'Sinister' as main villain.
Also bring on my favourite side villain villian too 'Omega Red'.

Actually thje movie had nothing to do with the MVSC series, but you know that .
Seriously the first movie was pretty bitchin IMO.
Magneto was a different but a good take on a character.
He is a old guy in fact has grey hair in his games appearance which he is known to be old unless the hair is a pigmentation thing in the story of the character. (you knew that to though)
In my humble opinion that was a awesome magneto.
The characters also suited there comic counter parts rather nicely, ESPECIALLY Cyclops, and wolverine.

Did you know that the truck driver who drops off Rogue in her first scene was the Beast's voice actor on the cartoons and was going to BE Beat in the movie if not for the charater being taken out of the script?

I'll probably see it, but I really hope they de-emphasize Wolverine. He's pretty overexposed in the comic books, and the movie focused on him over characters I felt had greater priority in the series (Cyclops and Jean especially).

If they want to expand on Logan's role they should make a Wolverine movie and keep XM2 seperate IMO.
