Fuckin Gamestop..........Fuck

After they screwed me up my store credit (actually it's one of their employees stole my store credit) last time, I rarely go to Gamestop. I went last week for Mad Catz DC gun and that's the only place I can find that still have in stock.

Here is the story: I bought GBC R-Type DX last week and didn't like it. I decide to trade-in this game to DC Crazy Taxi 2. I don't really care how much I will get from trade-in my GBC game so it's up to them tell me how much it worth. They took Crazy Taxi 2 and told me the difference will be $45. I told them what? What the heck are you guys talking aobut? One of the rep told me that hey, trade-in is $4, CT2 is $45 therefore $41 adds tax will be $45.

WTF is that. Most places sell CT2 for $39 or less and they sell it for $45? Plus $4 more I can get JPN version. Dang.......I paid $45 with my GBC R-type DX (just opened it and played for 15 min) for that CT2 shit.....fuck that. <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0">

ya, gamestop and funco's games are usually five bucks higher than what you find everywhere else.

PSO at Gamestop = 54.99

The price markup at Gamestop, FuncoLand, and a few other stores is mandatory there and at a few other places that try to make a lot of their money off of traded/used/etc. games. Just shop at Babbages instead, I mean it's owned by the same company as Gamestop, Barnes and Noble, FuncoLand but they're prices seems a little better most of the time. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Yea, Gamestop and funcoland are pretty gay. (no offense to homosexuals out there) Some of their used prices are about the same as new games elsewhere.

Hate funcoland, but it's the only store that stocks obscure DC games, so I'm stuck. Oh well, at least the manager that works there is cool sometimes. There's another Funcoland about 15 minutes further in Maplewood where I see a cute girl working there sometimes. Having worked at a Gamestop for awhile as an Ast. manager I assure you that the pricing isn't the only thing that is off in that company. They have a serious problem with incompentence on the district and regional levels.

That was one company where i did not want to move up the corporate ladder.

Went to Gamestop today........CT 2 drops price to $39 (fuck.....I threw away my receipt). Guess what, DC KOF 99 Evolution for....$49.99.......
