Treasure is going to release Radiant Silvergun 2 (pseudo sequel) arcade this fall/winter. It's a naomi board based game.

Too bad that there might not be a DC port in the future........:<

I have a feeling this game will be ported to DC. It just wont be available here. As usual we'll have to import it.

As many Radiant Silvergun fans as there are now, it would be pretty inept not to port it to DC.

Here's to hoping! Keep your fingers crossed!

That's what I said, it's a pseudo sequel.

Regarding to Silpheed, it's actual a GameArt game. Treasure was helping them to develop and Capcom was the publisher in Japan.

Silpheed:TLP could really have been better in my opinion. The Mega-Rate system is a cheap pain in the ass, because it forces you to play recklessly (a 16x requires a point-blank shot). I'd rather fire up the Taito G-Net and play RayCrisis.

Now... I like the idea of an RS2. Wasn't this one also known as "Ikaruga"?

Treasure's GOT to port this to the DC.

the game is NOT radiant silver gun 2
it is A new shooter with elements of silhouet mirage. your ship has a light and dark side which has you doing LOTS of barrel rolls. plus your dark side can absorb shots from other dark ships and the same goes for the light sid/light ships. for a more indepth explanation check out game go magazines forums where ECM answers the same question for A forum member.
I know they do not do sequels but they should do A dreamcast PORT of the game to be fair to all of us who want the saturn rev and have to shell ot $125 for it.

WOW. The pictures of Ikaruga are some hot shit.

ECM says "It is more than likely not going to Dreamcast". Gee, that really makes my day.

Given the ease of NAOMI games being ported to the DC, this would be an injustice.

Oh Capcom, where art thou? Step right up and publish this thing please. If Capcom is the publisher of the arcade version, the chances of a DC port will improve IMO.

If it's on PS2, then hopefully someone will publish it here. It's a damn shame that there's no PS2 territorial lockout override yet.

I've been thinking of getting a Japanese PS2. I've heard you should not plug one into a stepdown convertor or you fry it. However, that was months ago. Is anyone here using a stepdown on one of the newer model PS2s?
