On the sega saturn....its the best ever 2d rpg.........FUCKING GREAT...if you have the chance to get it cheap then do so

I've played it... and played it... and played it...

I think I completed the game with 4 people before I finally stopped playing it.

I got this game for X-Mas... 5 years ago? I would get up at 7AM, play until noon so my Mom could watch TV, then at 1:30 I'd start playing AGAIN until 2AM. The next morning I'd get up and do it all again.

Dragon Force is easily the BEST game on the Saturn. They made a sequel, but it was only ever released in Japan, and evidently it was done by a different team than the first, so it was nowhere near as good as the first.

played it? i own it!!! i love that game working my way up as wein taking gongos, mikhal, and reinhart in the process. then heading upwards to teires, junon, then down to leon. i remember having to fight zannon about 23 times to level up teiris, gongos, reinhart, and scar. oh and hyatae and shriox along with wein(using zombies), kodiak, and vangal they're my dream general team, i love that game to death.

It's a "strategy RPG". And a DAMN good one at that!

You can visit the "official" site by going to <a href="http://www.workingdesigns.com/" target="_blank">Working Designs</a> site, click on Museum, Sega Saturn (our games) and then Dragon Force. I think it's basically the description from the back of the box.

Only place to find it would be on Ebay or a used shop. I've seen it get pretty expensive though, as it's sorta rare.

Great game, best bit is when your the evil guy (what's his name?) and you get Gaul and stuff in your team until they turn on you...(not played it for a year, think I'll have a go now)
I got this and a number of other collectable saturn games during a clearout sale in Eletronic Botique, I paid £3.99 for this but that was toffes compared to this....PANZER FUCKING DRAGON SAGA FOR £7.99! stupid basturds didn't know what it was, that was about 2 years ago now.
