my favorite games for gameboy advance are:

1 -street fighter alpha 3
2- megaman zero

Megaman zero is just awesome because it seems better than the psx megaman games I've played. It's kind of hard though. it's got extremely good color too.

Street fighter alpha3 is the best handheld fighting game I've played(except maybe ss2). The combos are on-par with the arcade version and the pallate of colors is exremely vivid(but you need some bright light to see it  )

What are the best GBA games you guys have played?

Also contra isn't very fun :( It seemed very dark color-wise and was so hard o play that I gave up and got megaman. It was so hard to me that trying again got boring.

My friend's hated that game because they can't beat a level in the first try  . Even if they ried 5 times they probably couldn't beat the first level!

Some levels I couldn't beat at all. But still, this IS the best game on GBA.

One more thing, a solution for the dark gameplay of Contra is an afterburner kit. Believe me, it's a freakin must have.

Yeah I know, I need one for alpha 3 also. Because some of the colors of the backround almost match he characters, in a dim room you can't tell where your character is. even in a normally lit room.

speaking of afterburner kits how much does it take off the battery life of the gba? is it real significant? or hardly nothing?

The newer kits take off 33% life. So, from 18 hours to 12.

Really not much at all...especially once you see it.

I enjoy Lunar Legend a LOT. It's the only GBA game I'm planning on taking the time to go through, since it's too damn dark otherwise. I'll probably win all of my other games when the GBA to TV thing comes out for GCN.

I guess I'd better pick up some new games. I only got it a week ago and all I have are the 3 I listed at the very top. but I am extremely picky about condition so they were all brand-new. I still wanted to pick up super street fighter revival. also I have how those damn plasic best buy containers seem to mess up the top edges of the boxes.

Anyone played kirby?

Note on Afterburner: Yes it does suck more battery life but you actually get more out of it. Think of all the time you spend adjusting your GBA to get light. You wont have to do that with an afterburner. For me the AB was the best thing I ever got for my GBA.

Now on to the games.

CastleVania..both of em.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Metroid Fusion

Zelda

Super Mario World

Super Monkey Ball Jr

Virtua Tenis

Legend or Zelda: A link to the past

All must have games.

I love my GBA.
