I love this game so much!!!
I love those ancient Roman/Greek mythology related games (I'm getting Genesis Phelios soon) and I never thought this game is so much fun.

Music is good but not spectacular. Control is good. I wish Tecmo can fix some camera views/angles

I've never played the NES version. Is it fun?

Yep, the new Warrior of Argus (Rygar in the US) is pretty good! Beat it 4 times, and the Guitar modes are great to use while going through a second time! Yeah, the NES version is pretty good, worth checking out.

Do you have US or Japanese Version?

I have JPN version
Have no money to get US PS2 so I give it up

JPN Silent Scope 3 & Tekken 4 are on their way

Can you believe it that I got JPN Tekken 4 brand new for $26 shipped?

It's very, very good... but I'm afraid I'm almost at the end (5 hours in). Hopefully it has some new stuff for replaying it...

If Beach Volleyball turns out as good as it looks (and I actually do mean the volleyball aspect), I'd say Tecmo is officially on a roll.

Yeah, wouldn't want to support the US publishers for virtually the same game.

Yes, RYGAR owns in every way possible. I still have some issues with the camera and the voice acting, but other than that its solid. Now, where the hell can I buy me some Diskarmor?

NES Rygar is excellent. The arcade version of Rygar is different from the NES version, but is also an outstanding game.

On the subject of DOA Xtreme Beach Vollyball, has anyone seen the incredible video Tecmo put out for it? The "How Crazy Are You?" video? DAMN it looks great!!

And the music is pretty catchy . . . for pure pop!

Oh and one more thing, there is one scene which shows an interesting . . . "indentation" in one player's bathing suit as she walks along the beach. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . .

Until I get a chance to play the new Rygar, Tecmo's old Arcade game is still my favorite and for some reason I never liked the NES version... prolly because I had played the arcade first and just couldn't adjust the way I managed to with Ninja Gaiden's Transformation into an action-with-cinema cut scene platformer.

Actually, you're right. I don't support those who hack away at the original art, and change it from it's unique vision (Capcom anyone?). Fortunatly, Tecmo made a great US translation this time around, and I hope they keep doing so. It's nice to see a puplisher keep most everything intact during it's localization. :D

I played Ratchet and Crank in a store briefly, and thought it was an EXCELLENT game. One of the better action/platform games to come out in YEARS, and a blast to play!! :)

Topic: PS2 Rygar is awesome ----
debatable.
I thought so too the first hour or so of game play but I got board after that.
Which is strange since I can play Animal Crossing for a whole day and not even care.

That just means you're insane. Seek help in more interesting activities such as watching paint dry. ;)
