Zuntata Replica Vol. 03 *Legend: RASTAN SAGA*
The soundtrack which is hyped up techno versions of all three Rastan game's in game music was released on 09/21/98 but I just got my copy for XMAS as a gift from my GF who remembered that RASTAN is my all time fav game. ---VALHALLA!

I just wish more companies would make an effort to get decent composers and real bands/orchestras/whatever to do music for games. I always use the orchestrated Final Fantasy CDs vs. the OST CDs as a comparison - there is none. If only we could have that kind of music in game...
When the Turbo CD and Ys came around, I thought it signalled the end of generic synth music... 10 years later it's still out of the norm to have real instruments in game music.

I love the music in Metroid Prime. An incredible soundtrack for an equally incredible game!

Shenmue IIx (take the superb dreamcast s/t from last year and spruce it up with some new cuts. SUPERB!!!)
Dead To Rights (fucking awesome action movie music. DUN DUN DUN-DUN!!!)
Jet Set Radio Future (music i'd neevr normally listen to, but it fits tha game so well it has to have credit.)
