Interesting , those things were one of the worst made piles of shit to ever hit the road , they had one of the worst most unreliable and underpowered Renult engines ever to be developed in them.
They were doomed from the start , then John Deloren decided to snort the company share holders cash and went off to prison and that was that.

But hey at least they will never rust , but 33K I dont think so , a super clean one will only set you back about 12 to 16K , heh try and park it in a parking lot and get in or out of it , lol.
They could be worth it I suppose if they changed the engine and running gear and you like funky late 70's space themed interior styling ?

Im sure some fool will buy them though.

Thats okay, you only need to get up to 88mph for some "serious shit".

Ha! I said what everyone else was avoiding! Haha!

they were not bult THAT bad.besides, you can drop A northstar engine in there for better performance.
also, john delorean didn't snort anything. He was set up by the feds. whatch the biography, they told him that if he did not cooperate than they would deliver him his daughters head in A bag.

The company is SUPPOSEDLY making A new car. I hope it happens.

If the new car comes with a Flaux Compasitor installed and the option to fuel the car off of biodegradeable products then I could see paying the 33K asking price... otherwise WHY?

The good sound system is $5000.

I love this car....(looks) but this is way underclassed. At least in Back to the future they were cool :)

It's a shame what happened to the original company especially after the UK Government plowed millions into a state of the art factory in Northern Ireland (which I believe is still empty now).

The car had some bad flaws though. Although the body couldn't rust the chasis sure could and badly. The struts that hold up the gull-wing doors are prone to fail as they're not strong enough and that Renault/Peugeot engine was just shite on a stick.

The stainless steel body would also 'record' the hand print of anyone who ever touched the body...

The car had potential, but never really got out off starting grid...
