I'm steadily getting interested in MP3s.

I don't download much from the net per se; I like to RIP them from CD.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a FREE, relatively small in size .WAV --> MP3 converter program?

All of the FREE packages I have tried so far (Zlurp!) only allow:

1.) Limited RIPS
2.) RIP odd-numbered tracks

Any assistance with Specific Links would make you a gentleman and a scholar instantly and earn you a badge of appreciation.

Why not just do it through Winamp?

Musicmatch Jukebox works fine for me. It just has an annoying pop-up when you close it to buy the full version, no big deal.

Full version is worth it though.

I bought it about 3-4 years ago, back when they were still relatively unknown, and it was one of the best $30 I ever spent on my computer. Not only is MusicMatch a GREAT piece of software, but I get free lifetime upgrades whenever a newer version is released. :D

I don't know if they still offer that when you buy the full version, but if so you might want to consider shelling out the dough for it.
