Kung Fu isn't the Ancestor of Muay Thai. The martial arts of the southeastern asian countries around thailand stem from each other and not from Kung fu. They all have the Prefix "muay" which means "box" at the beginning. Burma has "Muay Pama" which means "Box Burmese". They are similar but with some defining differences. Muay Pama has headbutts unlike Muay Thai.

also I don't think the Filipino martial arts Kali, Arnis and Escrima stem from Kung Fu.

"Computer Space" was the first arcade game. "Tennis for Two" was the first video game, which was made (but never patented) in 1958, 8 years prior to Ralph Baer's "game box" (the first game system made for television).

...Riddle me this ;)

The "game box" (called Prototype Chassis #1) had "Fox and Hound". A game where one player controlled one pixel and tried to catch another pixel controlled by your opponent. The final version of that prototype which is called the Brown Box was made in 1968, and had a dozen games built into it. It even had a light gun. It's still on display at traveling museums if I'm not mistaken. It was no different than any other system... more advanced in some respects.

Computer Space was just the first Arcade game.

Computer Space was a mutation of a called Syzygy, which was a rip off of a game called "Spacewar!" (the game made by TMRC... the guys from MIT). The computer they programmed Spacewar! on wasn't even invented until 3 years after Tennis for Two was made. The technology needed to make the game Computer Space wasn't even invented until 1970 (well, to make it affordable... not over 100,000$ - heheh).

Both Chassis #1 and "Tennis for Two" fit the 3 criteria of a "video game" set by the programmers of Spacewar! (It should be interactive, unique each time you play, and use as many of the computer's resources as possible). So, if you want to say they made the first game... they'd tell you otherwise.

You are correct.
Same info I get out of most "collector" collectors I talk to.
Awesome!

I know nothing about Kung Fu.
I'd have to ask my brother in law.
He runs a Jojo/school..
