Any updates to the resolution, or sprites? Or is this exact same as all the other versions with online play?

I just bought it this morning and have been playing it most of the day! Great game! I prefer the SNK fighters over the Capcom ones (surprise, surprise! wink ) and the game is addictive enough to keep you coming back.

The Controller S is PERFECT for this game! The D-pad is ultra tight and precise which makes for easy special moves! Once you tweak the control functions, you're set! The defaults are strange. Oh, and no EO-ism for me!

yeah, you're the first person i've ever heard say that the S controller was perfect for the game...

just out of curiosity, what controller configuration are you using that's so wonderful?

I'm using a custom setup that I've used since SF2 on the SNES...

Light punch = white
Light kick = black
Med punch = X
Med kick = A
Fierce punch = Y
Fierce kick = B

Then I map the useless crap like taunting and multi moves (ie: LK + LP, etc) to the analog triggers.

The light punch and kicks are rarely used by me, like in the SNES versions. Therefore, I would map those to the shoulder buttons (the analog triggers) in this case.

Also, I only use the AC-ism and use the crisp and precise D-pad. This is the best setup for me and anyone that uses the default config or the EO mode is lame. That is all.

i thought i would like the s controller (for 2d fighters) but i dont it sucks.

a qcb motion is wayy too difficult with it.

plus the 4 face buttons really eat, becuase you cant possibly use the white/black buttons effectively.

and if you play without lights, you just suck and dont know how to play.
