Rygar. Yes it's time for the two titans of whipped like weapons to fight to the death. Rygar is from the game aptly named....Rygar. He saved Princess Harmonia from certain death and now faces his next challenge.

So who will it be: Rygar or Simon?

Simon needs a bit more vitamens & prayers to stand a chance against Rygar!!

Well, I'll put my two cents in.

I think it's quite an even match, but I would have to say Rygar.

Even though Simon would be tough, he's been outta practice for awhile. Ever since Super Castlevania 4, he hasn't been doing any Vampire killing.

I think Simon may have been sitting around the castle getting fat on pork roast and wine. :D

Rygar got back into the baddy killing business and now is back in practice so he probably has the foot up on Simon.

rygar has problems controlling his diskarmor
and gets hit still when hes swinging around enemys
simon would hit him in the head with a morning star
and then stab his eyes out with a throwing knife

Rygar - that Diskarmor can double as a shield.

Pretty handy.

Axes, knives, and the Boomerang could be blocked by the Diskarmor
Holy water doesn't work on Rygar

I am putting my money on Rygar. But I am voting for the 8 bit version. He has the advice of the Wisemen to help him defeat Simon. Plus when he powers up with Attack and Assail, forget about it!

Simon will BEAT Rygar in every which way,Dammit! I know Simon's got more girlz on his jock than Rygar.Simon got more cash and bling-bling than Rygar.Look at all the money bags he came up on since the first Castlevania! In Simon's quest,he had so much ice,he was tossin' them at Dracula's broke ass!Simon's got more whips than Rygar.He sold more copies of his game than Rygar.He's been on more systems than Rygar.He's got more fame than Rygar.The company that created him is better than the company that created Rygar.I can go on and on about this,but I'll leave it alone for now.Like I said,Simon will win this one,and then some!
