Yes the Hague have confirmed after months of rumours, when Sharon leaves office he will be indicted for war crimes.After his murderous activities during the mass executions and disapperences of palestinians in the Lebanon in 1982.
At present Sharon has diplomatic immunity.
So the sham of zionist israel's "peace process" has been confirmed.

Of course Israels reaction to all this was predictable they withdrew their diplomats from Belguim

All they could do is withdraw them. Well, that, and if they convince the US Navy to take down those dams on the NW side that keep them breathing below sea-level. Can't very well conduct trials under water...

But to think- an Israeli head of state will actually be forced to face the responsibility of his actions; a noteworthy precedent, if nothing else.

like nearly every leader (particularly the older ones) on both side the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has had particularly dark moments.

Menachem Begin? Yes, he helped broker peace between Israel and its neighbors, but he also had some very dark moments in the formation period of Israel.

Funny thing, when the people with bad moments of extremism get find a leadership position, they start to mellow out a little.

What about Yitzhak Rabin? He seemed like he was an all-around good sport. When he died, I sort of knew that any chance of peace in the Middle East died with him.
