Gamestop followed suit and is now letting customers get their hands on the Zelda bonus disc. I went into work to pick a few copies of the bonus disc for myself and a few co-workers at my other job and found out that Gamestop and Prima worked a deal where not only do you get the bonus disc but also a free strategy guide to go with it.
The strategy guide looks to be for all intents and purposes an almost carbon copy reprint of the book Prima published for the N64 version of Ocarina of Time. Now before I get slam dunked by all the Gamestop haters out there, you gotta admit getting the bonus disc and a free strat. guide to boot is damn nice.
I can only imagine EB will counter with a promotion of their own but I didn't get a chance to hop across the mall to talk to my buddy at EB.
Oh yeah...it'd be nice if someone like Hori or Nintendo themselves made a GC controller that was shaped just like the N64 one but had built in rumble and took the Memory Card 59/251 in the event Nintendo ever ran a similar promotion for another game down the line (like Mario Kart or F-Zero) or started porting N64 titles to the Cube as budget titles.

Originally the bonus disc was supposed to be pre-order only but it looks like some games stores are selling them for about $10 dollars. I'm glad i pre ordered because mine was free. You should still be able to find one fairly easy if you are close to a video game store (which i am not). Good luck in finding one and shame on you for not pre ordering Wind Waker in the first place!
