Gameboy Advance SP: Where can I pre-order?

I had pre-ordered a black Gameboy Advance SP last month from NCS for $129, now they sent me an email saying the price is now $175 plus shipping and even at that price I am not guaranteed to get one. Sound like BS to me, anyways, does anyone know of another place to order one? How about someone who is in Japan? Let me know. Thanks.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm also pissed off about NCS' inability to deliver the goods on time and at the initial offering price. Screw 'em, I say. I had them cancel my pre-order. After all, what's the point in paying a premium for an import item if, due to delays, the goods won't be delivered significantly sooner than the domestic product? I say hold out for the domestic GBA SP. It'll be available in late march, barring a delay on Nintendo's part (and this isn't likely). Maybe I can justify holding out longer since I've got a sweet afterburner modded GBA, but still, why take a gouging by an importer when the domestic release is just around the proverbial corner?

Yeah...if they ever get their credit card payment system working...

Try <a href="http://www.gamechoice.com.hk/" target="_blank">http://www.gamechoice.com.hk/</a> or <a href="http://www.lik-sang.com/default.php" target="_blank">http://www.lik-sang.com/default.php</a>

The same thing happened to me...Japanvideogames calls to tell me that my order will cost $179...WTF!?!?!...and They have them in stock but they want to know if I still want one...HELL NO!!! not at that price...

I re-ordered at Lik-sang...

So Play-Asia.com doesn't have a working credit card setup yet? I hope so, I was gonna order a GP32 and Gameboy SP there.

I wanted to reserve a Cobalt GBA SP from work last week but the asst. manager told me there was no reservation listing in the system for it. They're running a deal now though where you trade in your GBA for $40 towards the SP so maybe they changed it.

they actually tell you on the ncsx site that you're better off waiting for the US one that comes out in march. the price hike is specifically for those that "really got to have it RIGHT NOW" which they don't know if they'll have enough in stock
