The PSX sequel wasn't really a sequel. It started out as R&RR2 but morphed into a game called Red Asphalt, and sucked. Hard.
Blizzard's not talking release date on it yet; I know Lost Vikings is going to come out first of the three games (the third is Blackthorne). But I think--think--they're looking at spring, around E3 time, for Rock 'n Roll Racing. I am really looking forward to it too, it's one of my faves. I still play the inferior Genesis version on my Nomad, just because that's the only way to get it portable!</strong><hr></blockquote>
I love it on the NOMAD!
What a game!
Strangely, I think the PSX game 'Red Asphalt' is my all time favourite 32bit game.
I loved everything about it.
They kept the characterisation from the first game and expanded it to include in-game abuse/ threats from the enemy drivers.
Your character even gives it some at the begining of each race!

I would kill for a handheld version of that game.
