Anyone who hasn't played this is missing out on one of the most unique gaming concepts ever: A first-person, anime-sytle survival driving game! The FMV loads flawlessly with the action, and the animation is really great! While it's not a "free-roaming" game (you can't go where you want; you have to follow commands), the great animation and cut sequences add for a very exciting air. Buy it if you can find it.

Hell yeah Road Avenger is a rokkin game, great all round.

Wanna get hold of the Saturn double pack/w Thunder Storm FX, the FMV looks much cleaner.

Saturn was supposed to get all the SegaCD FMV games rereleased for it. Road Avenger and Time Gal were always my two favs. I loved the FMV games, Road Avenger was cool because the crash scenes always changed to fit where you were... and the hitting the kids in the park scene was always a favorite! :) I thought it was a bit easy though, i could usualy beat it with only one or two crashes.... Man it did look so good back then though, plowing down the wheat was brilliant! :)

Road Avenger came with my sega mega cd i had back in xmas '95. I was blown away by the graphics and music to say the least. My favourite level was the one in the Farm where you got chased by the combine harvesters, owww yeah!

Man I haven't thought about that game in years... I always LOVED the opening song, took me forever to translate what the heck the guy was saying though. I have the lyrics somewhere in my house.
