I got sweet sweet Winter Break off college. ;)

So I'm reading in my free time:

-The Power of Now
by Eckhart Tolle. My college buddy recommended me this book. I recommend it to everyone here. You might think, "oh no, not that spiritual crap shit." But seriously, this is a good read. It has gotten a lot of acclaim as well. I like what I'm reading so far. Check it out.

-Where the Red Fern Grows
Never read this one yet... just picked it up. Good stuff. About a boy who goes on an adventures with two dogs. Classic stuff already, I can see.

I heard this joke last night & just throwing it here for fun, you may have heard it before...

This woman said to me if she was my wife she'd put poison in my drink.

And I said back, well, if I was YOUR husband... I sure as hell would damn drink it!

Take it easy. :D

How's it going Steve?
I'm currently reading " The Inferno" from "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Aligheri for the second time, also reading "Grendel" by John Garner. It's a sweet book!
Cheers to everyone.. <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" /> <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" />

I plan to jump the Lord of the Rings bandwagon soon... Maybe I'll get into the Magic the Gather book series, but I dunno...

Man, I haven't really read anything in a long time...

As of right now, I'm reading a book called Hyperspace by Michio Kaku. Its basically talks about that there is a fifth dimension. It's those type of books that is thought provoking and yet not bogged down in technical stuff. I'm not far into it but its very interesting.

Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson. Also reading Naked Lunch by Bill Burroughs. Both excellent books. Naked Lunch isn't the easiest read though. When done with those it's back to good ole fashioned literature.

That is, without a doubt, one of the greatest written works in history.

At some point I need to go back and ReRead the Wheel of Time books as most of the details are starting to get a bit fuzzy and I figure I should go back a ReRead The Return of the King at some point (been years since I last read it).

Not the most thought provoking book, but it's interesting (for instance... the connection between the atomic bomb and the first video game made... read for yourself!):

Supercade: A visual history of the videogame age (1971-1984).

I just started reading Terry Brooks' Shannara series, I'm only about fifty pages into the first book so I can't make any judgement calls on it yet.

And I'm patiently awaiting the next chapter in Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" series, entitled "The Wolves of Callah".
