I feel kinda dumb asking, but I won't know until I do. I've seen it on some import DC games, what does "for matching service" mean?

It was a special online matchup system, which I think was exclusive to Capcom's games... it allowed you to play, for instance, Vampire Chronicles, against another similarly equipped player. It only worked in Japan, of course... the function was always removed from any US versions.

Vampire Chronicles and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on Dreamcast are both "for matching service", and were also only available through a special web order form, right? Any other games with the matching service title? Don't think so.

There were other capcom fighters that were playable online but didn't have Matching Service in the title.

Yea there is, I have it. I'm pretty sure there is also a Super Puzzle Fighter 2x for matching service and a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for matching service.

"for matching service" is just so engrishy that it gives me tingles of delight.

p.s. i have both Vampire Chronicle and SSF2X so commence with the hatred.
