Because it's cool. I'm used to MEGAman, but what was wrong with ROCKman, Capcom USA?

I think Capcom USA changed names (street fighter series, Biohazard) and what not just so they could give themselves something to do. Look at Fox Hunt. What a waste of money...just so Capcom USA could legitfy themselves. Listen CAPCOM USA, just take the Japanese shit and stick with it.

Protoman was Dr Light's first robot before he build Mega/Rockman (get it Proto-man he is a prototype for Mega/Rockman). He was solen by Dr Willy and reprogramed to be evil but by the end of the series he was reprogramed to be good again. Same for Willy the 2 other robots Willy him self build Forte and Zero who were later reprogramed to be good.
