Contra will be available in february in europe.

how good is the game since it's already available in the US ?

Contra S.S. is a freggin' awesome game, and hard as hell even for vetern Contra players... and while the game looks great and plays great, I still think Super Contra (Arcade) is the best of all of them. But if you're an old schooler like me get S.S. you shouldn't be too dissapointed.

although i'm not attempting to make any comparison between the two.

we all know we'd rather play contra. :cool:

you rarly find a game like contra: SS these days . it still has the feeling of the old games

All I can say is: PREPARE TO DIE! Haha. Once I finally finished Stage 6 after about 20 hours of play, I gave up. I had enough of the stress!

Pretty good overall, I like it.

It's a bit on the short side though IMO, but it's old school goodness. Patterns, patterns & patterns.

SNES Contra III is still the best overall.
It was my first time to feel "Wow....this is...video game?"

PS2 Contra is good but I don't have that kind of feeling any more. Currently this game is in one of my boxes (maybe collecting dust)....
