Is this the Kunio game that takes place in ancient Japan that I once saw pics of on someone's website. The characters are in Karate Gis and fighting near Shinto Shrines and Buddihst Temples? Just wondering cause I'd like to know more on this.</strong><hr></blockquote>
YES!!!!
The music is awesome.
The backgrounds are awesome (great color and detail... it's insane).
People play RPGs and say the characters are customizable... bullshit. This game can do that better. Besides buying items which power you up, you can, at any time, change your strength. At default, your punch/kick/defense/etc. is 10% a piece, but you can lower one by 10% and add it to any other category. If you want your punch to do an extra 80%, but you don't want any weapons ability, go for it.
This game fixed a major problem with RCR, and that was when you played it two player, you played for an unnecessarilly long period of time because you had to split the money between you and your friend. This game takes care of that problem by allowing one player to switch to a previously defeated boss who joined your side (bosses have their own unique moves and are generally stronger than your character... so you can switch directly to him without spending hours saving up cash for costly items). Not all the same bosses join you each time you play, and there are like 20 to play with/upgrade, so you can play this game over and over again.
Also, this game works with experience points. When you level up, you get new moves. There are 40 some odd moves in the game I do believe. The new moves you learn are random... and you won't always get moves when you level up. This adds a lot to the replay. You can also look for some secret shops to buy your favorite moves if you haven't already leveled up to them/didn't receive them when you leveled up.
The game has insane replay value.
EDIT - if you have any further questions about it, just ask. Oh, and yes, it does have a story... and an ending.
