MegaDrive 20XX:
Does Maximo actually count as a Ghost's game I've always wondered on that actually?
Although its 3D, Maximo is solidly in the series of GnG games. Has similar music, similar weapons, zombies and other creatures, tombstones, hidden stuff . . . and on the back cover, has this blurb:

A return to classic action-adventure gameplay and fun!

Its a really well-done but modern (3D) sequel to the old classic GnG games. Worth picking up for only $20 new, too! :)

This game, upon first viewing at E3, had me absolutely HOUNDING the Capcom rep for info. He refused to call it a literal sequel, saying instead it was 'in the tradition of GnG'...

So officially, no. Realistically, yeah. BTW, it's a damn fine game too. I just thought the bosses were a bit too easy myself. Hopefully we'll see a sequel for all the consoles this time.
