...I wonder why they're skipping Dune: Messiah?...oh well, I'm eager all the same.

The remake of Dune on Sci-Fi was very well done, and Children looks like it is being done in the same fashion.

Off topic:

They finally pulled their heads from out of their asses and brought back Farscape.

Coming soon yet more people who can't act!!!
Sorry but the remake of Dune would have been a lot better if the guy playing Paul showed even one emotion during the whole show. Hell the princess in the first Star Wars movie was more emotive than he was. I will probably still check out the first couple to see if its any better.
One thing that I have to ask why is the decision to make a Tremors series. ?? The movies got bad enough do they really have to torture us with a series of that crap?
Farscape will return best decision they could ever make!! Also check out Firefly it is a pretty good temp replacement until the new Farscape episodes start showing up.

I sure hope it's better than that "Frank Herbert's Dune" computer game <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

By the way, has anyone read the new book? What do you think of it?

Their heads are still in there asses. They have not brought Farscape back. They are just airing the last 11 episodes that they finished before destroying the sets. Dam I hate them for cancelling Farscape.

I am looking forward to Children of Dune though.

Farscape is still dead, SciFi operates on a modified schedule where they air programming when the networks are airing re runs. Like USA is starting Dead Zone, and Showtime is showing the rest of Odyssey 5.

IMHO, Sci Fi is a lost cause for the genre. They are making a series out of Tremors?!?!?! The network seems to have lost direction.

Hell, a few weeks back they showed Braveheart, I would LOVE to hear them explain how that is related to the genre.

Taken was good, but why did they kill Farscape, Invisible Man, Outer Limits, The Chronicle? Dune made them a bunch of money, hence why we get another one, but will another follow?
