the rainbow edition is a bootleg, for sure, but not a very common item to find...

Heh, that bidder is a hardcore collector, for sure. He's the same person who paid top dollar for my US KoF 96; I thought the eBay account name looked familiar. And no, I don't regret selling it to him, as KoF 96 JP has a 10x cooler insert.

There was a guy on the KLOV boards that said he wanted that board bad. He's probably the one that pushed the price up. I think that's way too much, I've got 2 Rainbow Editions (both have different "features" too), and I paid only around $10 for each of them.
