cosplay is ok, but only if it's done on halloween, you look somewhat like the character and it fits you, and you dont have cheap cheesey crap that makes you look like a retard... I've always wanted to know, how do you pronounce cosplay, and what does it mean? I mean, where does the word come from?

I think it's cool that they even have a cosplay character in kof2000.

It comes from "costume play." It's used now as a term for whenever you dress up as a character at a convention of any kind.

cosplay is pronounced in japanese co (like from cost) su (as in sue) pu (like poodle) re (rolled r, like ray, but with the rolled r)
co-su-pu-re

and this term can be extended in japanese to any form of costume wearing. Usually its used in an erotic context though.... like in porn and shit.

There is a lot of photshop going on there. First it's some one elses head on some one elses body. And all of the clothing was added on with some kind of paint tool as well. It's done pretty well.
