I was looking today at some Empty Plastic Game cases I have around..and I came across this.
Inside of a green case...
<img src="http://www.imagemagician.org/images/cokegirl/030719163326.jpg" alt=" - " />

When I got this case it had SNES Super Star Wars Return of the Jedi in it,,from Blockbuster..

I don't have this SNES game/port..I wonder how it compares to the real thing.

Mind, I suppose, seeing as the game is soooo damn awful, even SNK decided it wasn't worth burning the code to MASK ROM's

I think I'll go get a needle and start poking the EPROM windows to see what happens...

what dif does it make if the port stacks up when the original is a giant pile of garbage.
The gameplay is choppy and unbalanced
The characters have NO originality
The game just....SUCKS!

I like the WH series.
In my 11 years as a World Heroes fan, I've come to realize one thing when the hating starts on the WH games...

Gee, what else is new.

Oh well, everyone has their own experience with a game. Just with me, WH was the right thing at the right time kind of deal. Never again will there be such a similar gig... once-in-a-lifetime

WH is really a bad game, even for its time.

WH2 and Jet were good for its time and now quite decent, but outdated.

WH Perfect is a very nice game, very funny, a must have IMHO.

I would like to see another sequel for that game.

Sorry, no idea about the SNES port, but most likely it should be inferior wink

Actually, I prefered the WH2 port to the original.

The AI wasn't as cheap, and you could switch the button settings so that X is a weak punch, Y is a strong punch. I don't mind pressing A and B to get a strong attack like in SS, but I can't stand the tap/ hold down the button set-up of WH (and AOF2).

Love the series and still play it quite often.

The snes port is more decent then you'd expect.

World heroes 2 is a past testimony.
The first Neo geo game i played with Fatal Fury 2 and Super Sidekicks 1.
I don't like fighting games but i like fatal fury 2 and world heroes 2
I don't like soccer games but i like super sidekicks.

Just my thoughts

during my early neo years I hated the world heroes series and its look.It just lacked the OTT feel of SNK's own games
After that time i played and grew to love the old skool feel.
As a series I thinks its better than the last blade games

Once again in the face of WH flames I place myself along side Steve in its defense. There's just something about it, something I really can't explain, but whatever it is I dig it. I've gotta put WH 2 in the cab and rock it like its going outta style.

Me too.....but then you already knew that. Btw when did you get that RH proto( you may have already said it and all signs point to me forgetting )

On topic=

The WH1 port was ok, as usual it could have been better but this was a bone tossed to those who just wanted to play something from the Neo but couldn't afford it. At times there would be a lil' bit of slowdown and the standard muffled voices and etc. I'd say only get it if either=

A) You collect SNK related ports
B) You like the World Heroes series( which would be me )

I bought it from someone who bought it off !arcade!. They still have all the pictures on their webpage, but none of those carts are still available. <a href="http://www.arcadesolutions.com/merchandise/pro.html" target="_blank">-Prototypes for sale-</a>

If you don't mind my asking, what did you pay for the Riding Heroes proto you have? Is the game complete like the released product, or is there any extra stuff in it that didn't go into the final version of the game?
